The addition of music for the 2011 season really did add something to the atmosphere of the market. Thank you to all of the musicians who participated, we are truly appreciative. A special thank you goes out to Ann Schroeder for organizing the music for the market.
Where the Locavores Hang Out
The Mabou Farmers Market is an eclectic collection of local food growers, producers, artisans and crafters who offer their wares every Sunday from June 3rd, 2012 to December 16th, 2011, 11a.m. to 2 p.m.. For the regular season, June 3rd to October 7th, we'll be at the Mabou Arena on Mabou Harbour Road not far past St. Mary's Parish. The Fall season is October 14th to December 16th and will be at Dalbrae Academy: 11156 Route 19, Mabou, NS.
We're at about the midpoint of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia's Ceilidh Trail in the pictureque village of Mabou.
Come hang out with us! It's one stop shopping. There's lots for lunch and snacks, eggs, meat, seasonal produce and berries, fresh baking, flowers and plants. You'll be able to find the perfect gift from a selection of jewellery, fine quilts, cards, handspun yarn goods, body care products, aromatherapeutic gifts, and the list goes on.
