Hello, we are a husband and wife team of crafters, Calvin and Alvina Samson. Calvin is a skilled craftsman who has always enjoyed working with wood and is a carpenter by trade.
Much of his work which includes, bowls, bird feeders, live edge vases, light houses, trees, spin tops, snowmen, rolling pins and Christmas ornaments, is turned on a lathe. He also makes band saw boxes, which are made of different species of wood that are glued together to create shaped boxes with drawers. He uses wood he cuts and dries, is given to him or he purchases to shape into his pieces. He uses maple, birch, applewood, walnut, douglas fir, and cedar. Most of the items we have for sale are his.
I, Alvina, am a lifelong crafter who enjoys working with many mediums including fabrics and macrame cord. My work includes quilted table runners, macrame plant hangers and macrame xmas ornaments.
Recent retirement has allowed us to spend more time crafting, we invite you to come and see what we have to offer.
