We are a husband and wife team of artists/crafters, Calvin and Alvina Samson. Calvin is a skilled craftsman who has always enjoyed working with wood and is a carpenter by trade. Much of his work is done on the lathe. He loves to turn bowls, spin tops, lighthouses and many other items. He also makes band boxes, which highlight different types of wood that are glued together to create different shaped boxes with drawers. He uses wood he cuts and dries, is given to him or he purchases to shape into his pieces.
I, Alvina, am a lifelong crafter who enjoys working with fabrics and macrame cord. My work includes table runners, playing card holders, plant hangers and Christmas ornaments.
Recent retirement has allowed us to spend more time doing what we enjoy, we invite you to come and see what we have to offer.
