Matos Apiary is a family-run beekeeping operation, new to Cape Breton Island. We believe that healthy bees make the best honey. We keep our bee farm as natural as we can, using only organic treatments on our hives. We also filter and warm our honey as minimally as possible to keep in the nutrients and enzymes that make honey the super food that it is. We offer Liquid Honey, Creamed Honey, Local Pollen, and Honeycomb. Not only do our bees provide us with incredible honey, but they also offer us pure beeswax, which we use to make over 30 different beeswax candles.
