Real soap for hardworking folk! Flora and Fauna soap is made from scratch from local tallow which we cut by hand and render on the woodstove. The tallow makes exceptionally beautiful and long-lasting bars. Our soap does not contain synthetic ingredients, fragrances, or colours. We source organically where possible and use essential oils for their beautiful scents and therapeutic qualities. We also offer a biodegradable, fragrance-free powdered laundry soap in a paper bag. (You add water at home to make 5 gallons of liquid soap!) We also sell whipped tallow body cream. New this summer is a tallow-based, all-natural tinted sunscreen! A soothing balm made with calendula blossoms and healing essential oils, it doubles as after-sun care. Also look out for our new Margaree Soap, made from pure clay from our cherished streams, scented with lemongrass, pine, and eucalyptus to deter those less-than-cherished blackflies and mosquitos.
