Dianne Quimby started her weaving path at the Nova Scotia Designer Craft Council classes in Halifax and has since achieved a Master Weaver certificate from Olds College in Alberta. Influences have been Canadian master weavers Laura Fry, Janet Dawson, and Jane Stafford as well as learning to weave the Swedish way with Becky Ashenden in Massachusetts. Dianne can be found frequently demonstrating at her local community market. She uses mostly natural yarns and products range from scarves and table linens to instrument straps and blankets. Her weaving can be found around the globe. She’ll share her passion with anyone who shows an interest.
